PROD-I-982 Ability to build custom reports with numerical values

I have a customer interested in getting a report of how many activities they've done over a particular period of time (see file attached). In the activities view in Org settings we can pull data like this, but then the user must sort by activity type and add up the quantity of each activity themselves. In Custom Reporting, it would be fantastic if there was a way to pull which user has done how much of what, but with numerical values, not just the itemized breakdown of each activity. Thanks!
